How to enroll into the iOS Developer Program

Apple requires that all apps be submitted onto the App store under a registered Apple ID and Developer Account with enrolment into the Apple iOS Developer Program. Because these accounts include agreements between Apple and the App owner, you (our client) must be the one to create and purchase your Apple Developer Account. Here's how:

The benefit of owning your own account is that you get full control over your App - and we want you to have that. Don't be worried if any of this looks confusing. We have provided a video and pictures to give you a hand.  Also, there are plenty of resources if you just Google your question.

Ultimately, if you still have troubles, fee free to get in touch with us.

Deciding on which type depends on your business structure and preference.

A corporate account will how your business name as the app owner, but it also requires that you include more details about your business that Apple will verify.

Apple verifies your business through a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet (D&B).

There will be links while you are registering that allow you to check for and enter your DUNS.

If you do not have a DUNS or if your details are not up-to-date or complete, you will need to complete and update them before you can move on to the next step.

Alternatively, go to  and enter your company name at the bottom of the page under 'Find a company' - your company may already have a DUNS and you can get it here. If not, it is a matter of registering with DNB to get one.  Also, if your DUNS records are not complete, you will need to get in touch with D&B to update them.
